Got a phone call from my fertility Dr's office today...
Monday I went in for them to do bloodwork to see if I ovulated this month or not. The nurse told me the higher the number the better.
For example: 5 - OK ovulation
10 - Good ovulation
My number was 12.1, which the nurse said was wonderful!!! So, I ovulated!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is such a big step for us! Being that last year, I ovulated 2 times total!!!!! We're sooo excited!
I get to take a test on Sunday. So, please keep praying and keep those fingers and toes crosse!!!
Love to all!!!!

~It Looks Like I've Got A Lot of Catching Up to Do!~
Sorry y'all, I've been MIA from the blogging scene for almost a year now. I just wanted to update you all on the activities that have been going on in our life.
Well, most of you already know that we have been seeing an infertility specialist since September 2009. I have been through all kinds of tests to determine what is wrong with me and to figure out why we're having such a hard time getting pregnant. Sometimes I feel like a guinea pig. :-) I know that some of you could care less about all this, but still feel it's very important information to share and interesting too. For anyone who has been through all of this, I have so much admiration for you.
Well, here it goes....
So, Clint has been checked - he's fine. :-)
Me on the other hand - what isn't wrong with me? LOL!
I had surgery April 13th to open up my blocked fallopian tube and as the Dr was in there, he found endometriosis and polyps that he cauterized and removed. So, the surgery was a success!
Now, I am being monitored very closely to see if my ovaries are working to make new eggs like they should every month. I went in today for an ultrasound to see if the ovaries were filling up with eggs. The technician looked at my left ovary first and didn't see any eggs. Then she went to the right ovary and found that it had a few. So, she said it's not as many as she hoped, but definitely better than none at all. :-) She measured the 1 good egg that was there and it was approximately 16mm. In order for it to be considered a good, ready egg, it must be 19 - 24mm. So I go back Friday to have it measured again. If it's of good size when we go back, Clint will give me a shot Friday night to make the eggs release from the ovary. And supposedly, 36-40 hours later, I should be fertile. :-) So, I'm very hopeful!
I do want to thank those of you who have said prayers and sent their thoughts and well wishes our way. It really does mean sooo much to us that you care.
We have prayed and hoped so hard through all of this! We know that it will all be worth it in the end when we have our miracle to hold in our arms. Hopefully, next blog will be an exciting one with the headline being WE DID IT!!! :-)
